Kingdom One is looking for a part time Web Developer to join the team. Kingdom One is a rapidly growing non-profit organization. This work will be like nothing you’ve ever done before!

Vision for this role

The Web Dev is responsible for developing and maintaining Kingdom One web properties as well as client properties.

 

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Will inform, create & maintain an enterprise-level digital web presence for Kingdom One.
  • Will help bring to life the mission slate via development roadmaps.
  • Can provide security updates to Kingdom One websites via WordPress.
  • Will collaborate with the Marcom team in website development for Kingdom One and Clients.
  • Will help create educational pieces for Kingdom One Learning Platform.
  • Has willingness to learn and try new things in a professional setting.
  • Values relationships with team members and client churches.

  • Able to effectively complete projects within deadlines, organize time and contribute along with other team members at a high level of collaboration and execution.
  • Able to accept feedback and make pivots based on direction shifts from clients and ensure delivery dates are honored.
  • Has 1-3 years of experience in Web Development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Extensive experience working in CMS Systems such as Wordpress.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Knowledge of back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, PHP, Python, Ruby on Rails).
  • Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Portfolio of previous work to review.
  • Understanding of web security best practices and data protection standards.
  • Proficiency in testing and debugging code.
  • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha) is a plus.
  • Is a dedicated team player.

Salary Range: $30-$36/hour
