Kingdom One is partnered with First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood located in the Los Angeles area as they look to grow their team by adding a part time Young Adult Ministries Coordinator!

Vision for this role:

To help build FPCH’s young adult ministries; to help disciple young adults (college students, 20s, 30s, young singles, young married couples, young parents) and help them form a deep commitment and faith in Jesus Christ; to help young adults connect to the life and ministry of FPCH; to help young adults establish a unique identity and presence within the church; and to help young adults as they reach out to minister to those outside the church.

We're looking for someone one who:

Has a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing relationship with Him.
Has read, understand and abide by the Essential Tenets of FPCH.
Has experience in working with young adults in Gospel centered team building opportunities.
Must be a Christ centered team player.

What you'll do:

Assess the spiritual needs of young adults and help them to grow stronger in their faith in and obedience to Jesus Christ and in their knowledge of Scripture and the essential tenets of our faith.
Oversee and sometimes directly lead young adults in participating in Christ-centered worship through Sunday services, weekly Bible study, Sunday school classes, and occasional young adult worship gatherings. The Young Adult Ministries Coordinator is also required to attend and occasionally to participate in the larger church worship services.
Build relationships with young adults within church; young adult visitors to Sunday worship services; young adults in Hollywood; FPCH elders, deacons, staff, and congregants; and area young adult ministries and community organizations.
Lead young adults to integrate with and serve the various FPCH ministries.
Prayerfully uphold the needs of young adults in the church and community.

Salary information: $25/hour
15 hours per week.
